Long ago, when gods and demons still clashed openly, the divine general Fei Peng faced the demon lord Chong Lou in a battle that shook the New Immortal Realm. Their duel ended in ruin: Fei Peng’s sacred sword, Zhao Dan, was cast down into the mortal world, and Fei Peng himself was stripped of his divine status and condemned to be reborn as a human.
