At the request of Professor Chen, Hu Bayi and his companions set sail for Coral Temple Island in the distant South China Sea. To aid their journey, they enlist the help of Ruan Hei and his apprentice, boarding the ship Trident to seek out the legendary Qin Emperor’s Bone Mirror.
Their voyage soon takes a perilous turn. After a harrowing ordeal, the group is swept into the mysterious abyss of Guixu, where they stumble upon the ancient mirror hidden within a sunken wreck. But the discovery comes with a chilling truth—Ruan Hei is revealed to be an old enemy of Duoling, and trust begins to fracture among the group.
Exhausted but alive, they pause to recover from their narrow escape. Night falls, and Uncle Ming takes the watch. Just as calm seems to settle, a shadowy figure emerges from the darkness, a heavy club gripped in his hands, moving silently toward Uncle Ming. The stillness of the night shatters as danger approaches once more.
